Many lessons can be understood regarding the dialog between Abraham and the Lord concerning Sodom. Certainly, before the angels set foot there the Lord already knew of the “non-repentant” spiritual condition of perpetual evil in the hearts of those who lived in Sodom. A more accurate inquiry of the Lord by Abraham should have been, “IS THERE ONE MORE PERSON IN THE CITY WHO WILL REPENT?”
This question would have shortened Abraham’s inquiry as it is evident to the Lord that wickedness had reached a “state of absolute perdition”, when absolute judgment is rendered BECAUSE NO ADDITIONAL SOULS will be added to His Kingdom! THIS PRESENT AGE IS FAST APPROACHING THIS WICKED CONDITION.
Often our intentions in prayer can be skewed by our own interpretation of the "Will of God" and we pray for outcomes without the "full knowledge" of the circumstances engulfing that which we intercede for. We intercede ignorantly! Our eyes are on something estranged from the Eye of the Lord.
Abraham had a sincere heart toward the Lord. Abraham's desire to intervene in the Lord’s Judgment of Sodom was inspired by the Covenant that the Lord made with Abraham, otherwise Abraham would have no ground to stand on in this dialog.

UNDERSTAND that Abraham’s MOTIVATION to argue with God was NOT based on CONCERN for the WELFARE of the citizens of Sodom but rather to spare the land from destruction, a destruction that remains to this very day.
Abraham DID NOT ACCEPT the CONSEQUENCES of the “UNREPENTANT” nature of the citizens of Sodom. Abraham did NOT UNDERSTAND that there would be NO FURTHER REPENTANCE by the inhabitants of the city. Abraham’s argument with the Lord was MUTE!
TODAY, Abraham’s attempt to bargain with God over the LAND reeks of the same ATTITUDE of “evangelicals” in the U.S, who attempt to circumvent the need for repentance and demand the same from their political leaders JUST SO THEY CAN “SAVE THE LAND!
Abraham did not care to consider the depth of wickedness of Sodom so he begged God to relent from destroying the LAND for his own selfish reasons. Abraham REFUSED to accept the DECISION of JEHOVAH to JUDGE SODOM BECAUSE HIS EYES WERE ON THE LAND ... ABRAHAM WAS PLEADING TO SPARE THE LAND!

The coming judgment of God upon the inhabitants of the earth. The condition in Sodom and Gomorrah had reached "critical mass", a moment of Divine exhaustion with no hope of the conversion of men by repentance". The longsuffering of God exists until there remains no more hope for repentance and redemption.
Abraham Pleads for Sodom: "THE 10 YEAR OPTION" Psalm 90:10.
2028 is the absolute "outside" possible date of the second coming of Jesus Christ based on the scripture, "if by reason of strength they be fourscore years" Psalm 90:10.
The ten year option is conditional based on the actions, or in actions of men, and His long suffering and desire that none should perish. These two factors are not unrelated to each other and are in fact intimately connected.
In the case of Lot and Sodom, Abraham’s human perspective prompted the wrong questions to be asked of God. If Abraham must question God's wisdom, the question should have been, is there ANY who remain in the City who will "repent of sin" and turn to the Lord, rather than, "how many righteous men remain in the city". Abraham's misguided attempt to persuade God to abstain from judgment on the basis of inclusion rather than exclusion reveals a "Divine rule of Thumb" measurement factor. The ultimate decision of the resurrection, (rapture), of Believers from the earth will NOT be determined by the number of righteous men who "remain" but rather, "is there any who remain that will repent"? Genesis 18:16-33
There is a critical difference in these two "points of view". One perspective represents that human way of looking at eternal matters, the other represents eternal reality, the perspective of God, the only point of view that really matters.
Consequently, the dialog that took place between Abraham and God was a futile exercise by Abraham and had NOTHING to do with "numbers" as is commonly portrayed. The decision to destroy these cities had already been made before Abraham’s drama took place. Only God knows the name of the last man on earth who will repent. (Often, when reading biblical events, we miss the lesson.)
I am convinced that God would have spared these ancient cities had there remained one (1) soul who would have repented. God knew that not one more person living in these cities would repent. (The subject matter here has to do with repentance). Abraham's logic revealed human weakness and searched for compromise. At first appearance, it would seem that Abraham's actions were "noble", long suffering, caring and meaningful, however his questioning of the wisdom of God was self serving and revealed ignorance, bordering on insolence thou I'm sure that Abraham’s and Lot's grief over the sins of Lot's neighbors was genuine and accounted to both Lot and Abraham by God, as a righteous concern by men with a repentant hearts, another reason why the Lord delivered Lot and his family. Thank God for His mercy and that he does not condemn us for our stupidity, short comings and wrong perceptions. I think Job suffered some misconception as well, but was also a man commended by God. I am confident that the "Divine key" to the rapture, followed by the execution of His wrath upon the inhabitants of the world, has everything to do with the final repentant man, rather than how many righteous we can count that live upon earth.
This attitude of looking for reasons to, “reconcile irreconcilable differences" between ideas, lifestyles and religion, rather than embracing the message of repentance and exclusive faith in Jesus Christ persists today in the "church" and contributes to the apostate faith we are experiencing. There is evidence of this everywhere, ministers, pastors failing to preach and teach the need to repent while tickling congregations who are filled with mischief. So called church leaders calling for the uniting of Islam with Christianity. Sickening indeed! The Lord knows the true condition of the heart of man.
There is a moment in human history, when an entire civilization becomes completely corrupt, reaching the saturation point of no repentance and no return to righteousness. Only the Lord knows this "key" factor. I am convinced, that at a precise moment in time, when no Divine purpose remains for the Believer to continue on Earth, that the rapture will occur. I do know that we are fast approaching that moment, when the last man on earth will turn to Messiah. Whatever happens between now and then, will ultimately determine how many, if any, of the "10 year option" is used.
I often receive questions from people truly seeking answers to today's difficult challenges.
Q what is your solution to live- hopefully in relative peace- until the return of the Messiah? Do have any solution that will mitigate, ameliorate the now and future bad conditions? An AR15 won't make things better, however, without it, it can make things worse.
A I can only tell you what I am doing and how I wake up each morning and face each day.
First and foremost I consider the well being of my soul and the safety of my family. Praying for each member as they are out moving about during the day does provide for Divine protection for them wherever they are if and when calamity strikes.
Encourage myself and others to have faith in our most precious Messiah, Savior, Jesus Christ. This insures eternal longevity and hope in the perfect life with Him that is to come. Remember that the joy of the lord is our strength, so praise Him privately and corporately with other believers when you can.
I do not know how long it will be until we reach that moment when the last man on earth will turn to Messiah Jesus the Christ, but I do know we are fast approaching this time in human history.
Whatever happens between now and reaching this generation's "saturation of evil" moment, I encourage you to;
Make preparations, for the Gospel's sake, to sustain you and your family members to face several upcoming global catastrophes that will occur over each year until the year 2018 and possibly beyone. This devastating event will ultimately result in the interruption of and often the prevention of the movement and delivery of goods and services to the consumer. These conditions will last for an extended period of time (likely 6 months), until the United Nations world health organization (WHO) has installed a global government by a UN emergency act. I know God will meet your needs. BUT REMEMBER JOSEPH... DON’ T BE STUPID... LISTEN AND WALK ACCORDINGLY!
This response to global chaos is by design and will provide the excuse for new global governance. The UN will attempt to restore some type of so called normalcy to chaos by the institution of a new monetary system based on a global human numbering system that will provide world citizens access to food goods and services.
Remember, the weapons of our warfare are NOT carnal but powerful for pulling down spiritual strongholds. It is also relevant to remember that had not “good” people taken a stand at various times in the past, slavery would be the law of the land and all of here in America would be speaking Japanese or German or both!
This world is quickly reaching that critical moment in history. We are still here as Christians to keep preaching, sharing the truth until the last human turns to Him. God knows when that moment will be reached and is quickly approaching. Then we will no longer at this time be needed here on earth and will be removed until we return with Him.
I would hope that we will not be around to experience this, however, I suggest that you prepare regardless. The best that could happen is that we are "taken out of the way" by God, and our supplies are left for some poor ignorant bastard that is left behind.
The prerequisite of God's mercy and longsuffering upon a violent and evil society is based on the hope for repentance. Abraham's question should have been "will you spare the city if men repent"? The fact that there were NO men living in that city who were willing to repent sealed the fate of its inhabitants, thus Lot and his family were commanded to leave the city and then came severe and absolute judgment.
God acts in both swift judgment and longsuffering, remember Uzzah, dead for touching the Ark of the Covenant. There are others reasons why God extends His mercy and longsuffering to unrepentant men. This has to do with men interceding on behalf of men with prayer to God for mercy with the purpose of repentance. Remember Exodus 32, the familiar story of the golden calf.
God had delivered his people from slavery and Moses had gone up Mount Sinai to meet with God and receive instruction on how this people must now serve their God. While Moses is there the people grow tired of waiting for him, and decide to make a new god. The whole nation comes together in this plan, bringing all the gold they plundered from Egypt, and with it Aaron makes a golden calf. He sets it up there before all the people and they begin to pay allegiance to it, saying, "This is the God that brought us out of Egypt. This is the one that did all these amazing deeds for us." They worship this God; they bring their offerings before it and break out in a great celebration.
God observes the behavior of the people and tells Moses basically stating that, "This is the last straw. God told Moses that He was going to wipe them all out and then again start the nation out of him!" In a fascinating exchange, Moses pleads with God. He brings a case of both carnal human logic and spiritual reasoning to God and says, "I'll give you two reasons why you should not do this".
First, what will the Egyptians say about you, "Look at this God who brought them out of our land and then destroyed them all in the wilderness." Even thou Moses used human rationalization to erroneously appeal to a God who has no need for an ego; there was a very important element of truth in his statement. God keeps His Word and does not care what carnal thoughts the unbelieving world has about Him. This promise of God to successfully bring the decedents of Abraham into the Promised Land led to Moses to make the next statement.
"Don't forget the covenant promises you made to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob that their descendants would come into their inheritance. Even thou God is not worried about His reputation, the second reason; Moses remembered that Abrahamic covenant and spoke the promise directly to God, a principle that fulfills His Word on earth. When God hears His Word spoken from the mouth of a Believer, God puts that promise into action and it will manifest here on earth.
So in verse 14 we read, "And the Lord relented from the disaster that he had spoken of bringing on his people." God decided not to bring justice against this nation at this time. God could have put every one of them to death and still brought the decedents of Moses into the Promised Land; however it would have not been as he had spoken, and that is critical to understanding the purpose of the mercies of God, that is too accurately and completely fulfill His plan.
What is the condition of men in today's world, 2012? The question again today is will God withhold judgment of the nations of the earth based on the number of "righteous" men, (Believers) in each country? When will the inhabitants of earth reach a moment in history when men will mock God and refuse to repent and persecute to death those who follow the God of Israel? Wake up, we have reached that moment in history when Believers will be "removed from the city" and the judgment of God will fall on all nations and the Unites States will not escape!
Does this mean that men today no longer choose the Lord, Messiah Jesus, the Christ? No, however we have approached a moment in the history of mankind of a great separation that is taking place between true Believers and men on earth who have heard and rejected the Gospel of Christ as nonsense, live daily lives of rebellion of God and curse the Church of Jesus Christ. This condition will climax and at a moment that will take no longer than a twinkling of an eye and His longsuffering will cease.

Many lessons can be understood regarding the dialog between Abraham and the Lord concerning Sodom. Certainly, before the angels set foot there the Lord already knew of the “non-repentant” spiritual condition of perpetual evil in the hearts of those who lived in Sodom. A more accurate inquiry of the Lord by Abraham should have been, “IS THERE ONE MORE PERSON IN THE CITY WHO WILL REPENT?”
This question would have shortened Abraham’s inquiry as it is evident to the Lord that wickedness had reached a “state of absolute perdition”, when absolute judgment is rendered BECAUSE NO ADDITIONAL SOULS will be added to His Kingdom! THIS PRESENT AGE IS FAST APPROACHING THIS WICKED CONDITION.
Often our intentions in prayer can be skewed by our own interpretation of the "Will of God" and we pray for outcomes without the "full knowledge" of the circumstances engulfing that which we intercede for. We intercede ignorantly! Our eyes are on something estranged from the Eye of the Lord.
Abraham had a sincere heart toward the Lord. Abraham's desire to intervene in the Lord’s Judgment of Sodom was inspired by the Covenant that the Lord made with Abraham, otherwise Abraham would have no ground to stand on in this dialog.
TODAY, IN THIS VERY HOUR, the SAME perpetual evil does rival that of the days of Noah & Lot, and dominates human behavior and SOON, NO ONE on earth will repent of their sin, consequently, the services of the Believing Congregation, (true Church), “to preach the Gospel to all Creation and THEN the end shall come”, will no longer be required.

UNDERSTAND that Abraham’s MOTIVATION to argue with God was NOT based on CONCERN for the WELFARE of the citizens of Sodom but rather to spare the land from destruction, a destruction that remains to this very day.
Abraham DID NOT ACCEPT the CONSEQUENCES of the “UNREPENTANT” nature of the citizens of Sodom. Abraham did NOT UNDERSTAND that there would be NO FURTHER REPENTANCE by the inhabitants of the city. Abraham’s argument with the Lord was MUTE!
TODAY, Abraham’s attempt to bargain with God over the LAND reeks of the same ATTITUDE of “evangelicals” in the U.S, who attempt to circumvent the need for repentance and demand the same from their political leaders JUST SO THEY CAN “SAVE THE LAND!
Abraham did not care to consider the depth of wickedness of Sodom so he begged God to relent from destroying the LAND for his own selfish reasons. Abraham REFUSED to accept the DECISION of JEHOVAH to JUDGE SODOM BECAUSE HIS EYES WERE ON THE LAND ... ABRAHAM WAS PLEADING TO SPARE THE LAND!

The coming judgment of God upon the inhabitants of the earth. The condition in Sodom and Gomorrah had reached "critical mass", a moment of Divine exhaustion with no hope of the conversion of men by repentance". The longsuffering of God exists until there remains no more hope for repentance and redemption.
Abraham Pleads for Sodom: "THE 10 YEAR OPTION" Psalm 90:10.
2028 is the absolute "outside" possible date of the second coming of Jesus Christ based on the scripture, "if by reason of strength they be fourscore years" Psalm 90:10.
The ten year option is conditional based on the actions, or in actions of men, and His long suffering and desire that none should perish. These two factors are not unrelated to each other and are in fact intimately connected.
In the case of Lot and Sodom, Abraham’s human perspective prompted the wrong questions to be asked of God. If Abraham must question God's wisdom, the question should have been, is there ANY who remain in the City who will "repent of sin" and turn to the Lord, rather than, "how many righteous men remain in the city". Abraham's misguided attempt to persuade God to abstain from judgment on the basis of inclusion rather than exclusion reveals a "Divine rule of Thumb" measurement factor. The ultimate decision of the resurrection, (rapture), of Believers from the earth will NOT be determined by the number of righteous men who "remain" but rather, "is there any who remain that will repent"? Genesis 18:16-33
There is a critical difference in these two "points of view". One perspective represents that human way of looking at eternal matters, the other represents eternal reality, the perspective of God, the only point of view that really matters.
Consequently, the dialog that took place between Abraham and God was a futile exercise by Abraham and had NOTHING to do with "numbers" as is commonly portrayed. The decision to destroy these cities had already been made before Abraham’s drama took place. Only God knows the name of the last man on earth who will repent. (Often, when reading biblical events, we miss the lesson.)
I am convinced that God would have spared these ancient cities had there remained one (1) soul who would have repented. God knew that not one more person living in these cities would repent. (The subject matter here has to do with repentance). Abraham's logic revealed human weakness and searched for compromise. At first appearance, it would seem that Abraham's actions were "noble", long suffering, caring and meaningful, however his questioning of the wisdom of God was self serving and revealed ignorance, bordering on insolence thou I'm sure that Abraham’s and Lot's grief over the sins of Lot's neighbors was genuine and accounted to both Lot and Abraham by God, as a righteous concern by men with a repentant hearts, another reason why the Lord delivered Lot and his family. Thank God for His mercy and that he does not condemn us for our stupidity, short comings and wrong perceptions. I think Job suffered some misconception as well, but was also a man commended by God. I am confident that the "Divine key" to the rapture, followed by the execution of His wrath upon the inhabitants of the world, has everything to do with the final repentant man, rather than how many righteous we can count that live upon earth.
This attitude of looking for reasons to, “reconcile irreconcilable differences" between ideas, lifestyles and religion, rather than embracing the message of repentance and exclusive faith in Jesus Christ persists today in the "church" and contributes to the apostate faith we are experiencing. There is evidence of this everywhere, ministers, pastors failing to preach and teach the need to repent while tickling congregations who are filled with mischief. So called church leaders calling for the uniting of Islam with Christianity. Sickening indeed! The Lord knows the true condition of the heart of man.
There is a moment in human history, when an entire civilization becomes completely corrupt, reaching the saturation point of no repentance and no return to righteousness. Only the Lord knows this "key" factor. I am convinced, that at a precise moment in time, when no Divine purpose remains for the Believer to continue on Earth, that the rapture will occur. I do know that we are fast approaching that moment, when the last man on earth will turn to Messiah. Whatever happens between now and then, will ultimately determine how many, if any, of the "10 year option" is used.
I often receive questions from people truly seeking answers to today's difficult challenges.
Q what is your solution to live- hopefully in relative peace- until the return of the Messiah? Do have any solution that will mitigate, ameliorate the now and future bad conditions? An AR15 won't make things better, however, without it, it can make things worse.
A I can only tell you what I am doing and how I wake up each morning and face each day.
First and foremost I consider the well being of my soul and the safety of my family. Praying for each member as they are out moving about during the day does provide for Divine protection for them wherever they are if and when calamity strikes.
Encourage myself and others to have faith in our most precious Messiah, Savior, Jesus Christ. This insures eternal longevity and hope in the perfect life with Him that is to come. Remember that the joy of the lord is our strength, so praise Him privately and corporately with other believers when you can.
I do not know how long it will be until we reach that moment when the last man on earth will turn to Messiah Jesus the Christ, but I do know we are fast approaching this time in human history.
Whatever happens between now and reaching this generation's "saturation of evil" moment, I encourage you to;
Make preparations, for the Gospel's sake, to sustain you and your family members to face several upcoming global catastrophes that will occur over each year until the year 2018 and possibly beyone. This devastating event will ultimately result in the interruption of and often the prevention of the movement and delivery of goods and services to the consumer. These conditions will last for an extended period of time (likely 6 months), until the United Nations world health organization (WHO) has installed a global government by a UN emergency act. I know God will meet your needs. BUT REMEMBER JOSEPH... DON’ T BE STUPID... LISTEN AND WALK ACCORDINGLY!
This response to global chaos is by design and will provide the excuse for new global governance. The UN will attempt to restore some type of so called normalcy to chaos by the institution of a new monetary system based on a global human numbering system that will provide world citizens access to food goods and services.
Remember, the weapons of our warfare are NOT carnal but powerful for pulling down spiritual strongholds. It is also relevant to remember that had not “good” people taken a stand at various times in the past, slavery would be the law of the land and all of here in America would be speaking Japanese or German or both!
This world is quickly reaching that critical moment in history. We are still here as Christians to keep preaching, sharing the truth until the last human turns to Him. God knows when that moment will be reached and is quickly approaching. Then we will no longer at this time be needed here on earth and will be removed until we return with Him.
I would hope that we will not be around to experience this, however, I suggest that you prepare regardless. The best that could happen is that we are "taken out of the way" by God, and our supplies are left for some poor ignorant bastard that is left behind.
The prerequisite of God's mercy and longsuffering upon a violent and evil society is based on the hope for repentance. Abraham's question should have been "will you spare the city if men repent"? The fact that there were NO men living in that city who were willing to repent sealed the fate of its inhabitants, thus Lot and his family were commanded to leave the city and then came severe and absolute judgment.
God acts in both swift judgment and longsuffering, remember Uzzah, dead for touching the Ark of the Covenant. There are others reasons why God extends His mercy and longsuffering to unrepentant men. This has to do with men interceding on behalf of men with prayer to God for mercy with the purpose of repentance. Remember Exodus 32, the familiar story of the golden calf.
God had delivered his people from slavery and Moses had gone up Mount Sinai to meet with God and receive instruction on how this people must now serve their God. While Moses is there the people grow tired of waiting for him, and decide to make a new god. The whole nation comes together in this plan, bringing all the gold they plundered from Egypt, and with it Aaron makes a golden calf. He sets it up there before all the people and they begin to pay allegiance to it, saying, "This is the God that brought us out of Egypt. This is the one that did all these amazing deeds for us." They worship this God; they bring their offerings before it and break out in a great celebration.
God observes the behavior of the people and tells Moses basically stating that, "This is the last straw. God told Moses that He was going to wipe them all out and then again start the nation out of him!" In a fascinating exchange, Moses pleads with God. He brings a case of both carnal human logic and spiritual reasoning to God and says, "I'll give you two reasons why you should not do this".
First, what will the Egyptians say about you, "Look at this God who brought them out of our land and then destroyed them all in the wilderness." Even thou Moses used human rationalization to erroneously appeal to a God who has no need for an ego; there was a very important element of truth in his statement. God keeps His Word and does not care what carnal thoughts the unbelieving world has about Him. This promise of God to successfully bring the decedents of Abraham into the Promised Land led to Moses to make the next statement.
"Don't forget the covenant promises you made to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob that their descendants would come into their inheritance. Even thou God is not worried about His reputation, the second reason; Moses remembered that Abrahamic covenant and spoke the promise directly to God, a principle that fulfills His Word on earth. When God hears His Word spoken from the mouth of a Believer, God puts that promise into action and it will manifest here on earth.
So in verse 14 we read, "And the Lord relented from the disaster that he had spoken of bringing on his people." God decided not to bring justice against this nation at this time. God could have put every one of them to death and still brought the decedents of Moses into the Promised Land; however it would have not been as he had spoken, and that is critical to understanding the purpose of the mercies of God, that is too accurately and completely fulfill His plan.
What is the condition of men in today's world, 2012? The question again today is will God withhold judgment of the nations of the earth based on the number of "righteous" men, (Believers) in each country? When will the inhabitants of earth reach a moment in history when men will mock God and refuse to repent and persecute to death those who follow the God of Israel? Wake up, we have reached that moment in history when Believers will be "removed from the city" and the judgment of God will fall on all nations and the Unites States will not escape!
Does this mean that men today no longer choose the Lord, Messiah Jesus, the Christ? No, however we have approached a moment in the history of mankind of a great separation that is taking place between true Believers and men on earth who have heard and rejected the Gospel of Christ as nonsense, live daily lives of rebellion of God and curse the Church of Jesus Christ. This condition will climax and at a moment that will take no longer than a twinkling of an eye and His longsuffering will cease.
